Wilhelmsen Ship Management ( I ) invites applications from Graduate & Diploma Engineers for the selection of Trainee Marine Engineers, leading to a career as a Marine Engineer in our company.

Eligibility Criteria:

a. Nationality : Indian

b. Qualification :B.E (Mechanical, Mechanical & Automation/ Naval Architecture) OR

Diploma Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical /Electrical & Electronics / Shipbuilding / Marine Engineering) full time course with minimum 50% marks in aggregate of all the semesters from an AICTE approved institution. (The AICTE approval must cover the entire course)

c. Age : Age not exceeding 23 years for Degree & 22 yrs for
Diploma as on 2^nd December, 2013.

d. English                       : Minimum 50% marks in English in Std. X or XII
                                          or Communication skill in I & II in Diploma (only for
                                                Diploms Engineer)

e. Eye Sight                   : Minimum unaided (i.e. Without spectacles or contact
                                    lenses) at least 6/12 in each eye OR 6/18 in one eye
                                        with 6/9 in the better eye. Normal colour vision (tested
                                    by Ishihara test chart).

f. Medical Fitness : Medically fit for sea service as per Director General of
Shipping (DGS) rules

If you are appearing for the final year exam of your Degree or Diploma or have appeared and are awaiting your results, you are eligible to apply, provided you meet the remaining criteria.

Final selection will be subject to your fulfilling the above criteria.
